That was a sick piece there. Im a fellow burgh'r myself, atleast I was I live out towards greensburg now but most of my family lives in duquesne, homestead and squirrel hill. i got a close friend who lives in mt. wash right off beltzhoover st, its an interesting place. we usually just sit on his porch drink n smoke, sick view of the city. though im white and all i still understand the whole feeling and mood that seperates each part of the city. my sisters son who is black grew up most his life in homestead n duquesne along with my father, brother, sister, and everyone on that side of my family but hes told me some intense stories of gang life im not sure who he rolld with but i think maybe crip. anyway just wanted you to know whoever you are that this is an awesome peice of writing and if your able to relate to it, it really jumps out and grabs you. peace. steelers 010.
